Canonbury Suite was written for the Canonbury Wind Players. It has five movements, based on Renaissance dance tunes from the collections of Widmann and Susato. The music is arranged for two choirs each of oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon, and will sound most effective if the players are seated accordingly.
